We're hiring SEMH Teaching Assistants for our SEN school in Eastbourne! Our pupils, at risk of being eclipsed from mainstream education, need your support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage challenging behaviour with patience and empathy.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support pupils who may have experienced trauma, gang activity, county lines, or antisocial behaviour.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong and resilient individuals committed to the well-being of our students.
  • Passion for working with pupils facing challenges in traditional educational settings.

Compensation:

  • Competitive pay at £11.85 per hour.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced child-only DBS registered to the update service.
  • We provide a discounted rate for obtaining or updating your DBS.
  • Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
