Teaching Assistant New

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to join one of our lovely using schools in Lincoln. This role is starting in September 2022 on a supply basis, however there is potential for it to be extended into the academic year. 

About the school:

• Located near central Lincoln with easy access via car or public transport.
• Caters for pupils between the ages of 2 to 19 with wide ranging special educational needs including physical and medical needs, Autistic Spectrum Disorders and social communication difficulties and severe and profound learning difficulties.
• Recently rated 'Good' by Oftsted.

About the role:

• Pay rate of between £70 - £85
• Offering support to the pupils alongside the class teacher
• Supporting in multiple classrooms and age groups, depending where the support is needed.
• September 2022 start on a supply basis, with potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

Candidate requirements:

• Previous experience within a care setting or SEN environment.
• Have a minimum of 3 days a week availability
• Hold an Enhanced Child DBS or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.
• Be a resiliant but approachable individual - this role can be challenging but rewarding, due to the natute of the children.
• Any relevant qualifications such as Team Teach, Moving & Handling, Teaching Assistant etc.
