We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Worcester that is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced education professional who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential.

  • Supporting students in the classroom to enhance learning and engagement.
  • Working alongside teaching staff to deliver effective learning support.
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support where required.
  • Assisting with classroom management and student behaviour.
  • Supervising students during lessons, break times, and other school activities as needed.
  • Supporting students with additional learning needs.
  • Contributing to a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working within a school environment.
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom support and student supervision skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A proactive, flexible, and professional approach to work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
