Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across the BD23 area, who are seeking enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September.

These schools are dedicated to creating nurturing, inclusive learning environments where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop a lifelong love of learning.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development by:

✅ Working alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities
✅ Supporting individuals and small groups to achieve their learning goals
✅ Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
✅ Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
✅ Encouraging confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
✅ Supporting pupils with varying learning needs and abilities
✅ Assisting with classroom preparation and day-to-day school activities

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting
Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about education
Can build positive and professional relationships with pupils and colleagues
Has strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience supporting children with SEND or EAL is desirable but not essential
Has a proactive approach and willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
