The Role

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming Church of England primary school in the ST21 area to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a supportive and community-focused school looking for someone who can build positive relationships with pupils and contribute to a calm, structured learning environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils in class and in small groups
  • Providing 1:1 support where required
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery
  • Encouraging engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour
  • Supporting the school’s values and ethos

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • An understanding of safeguarding and professional conduct
