Contract: Full-Time/Part time encouraged to apply (8:30am–3:30pm), Monday–Friday

Pay rate: From £14.25 Per day

We’re working closely with a friendly, inclusive school in the Newport area, known for its strong ethos, supportive staff team, and welcoming environment. The school is seeking a dedicated and positive Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children and helping them thrive.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be supporting pupils either 1:1 or in small groups, working closely with the class teacher and wider support team. The school places a strong focus on inclusion and nurturing every child’s individual strengths.

The role will involve:

• Supporting pupils in the classroom and during learning activities
• Providing additional help to children with SEN / ALN
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Creating a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Experience working with children or young people (school, SEN, care, youth work, psychology or childcare backgrounds all welcome)
• A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
• A genuine interest in education and making a difference

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
