Teaching Assistant 1-1

Teaching Personnel are supporting a local Primary School who are looking for an additional member of the team to support in a 1:1Teaching Assistant role to start as soon as possible. The role is to start immediately until the end of the academic term.

The Role: 

• A fantastic Primary School in Durham
• Family feel small school with supportive staff and SLT
• Supporting a SEND pupil full time within the class room
• Encouraging development and learning with a fun element 
• Holding accountability for childs progression 

The ideal Educator:

• Show enthusiasm and passion to make a difference within a school setting
• Ideally hold L2 or L3 TA qualification (however not desirable if experienced within teaching or a care setting)
• Have a nurturing personality and can easily identify behavioural challenges
• Holds DBS on update service (not desirable but must be willing to apply for one)
• Must take initiative within class setting and ownership of their work 
• Show drive and commitment and work alongside the Class Teacher

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
