Education and Training

£83.85 - £90 Per day

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) designed by the classroom teacher
  • Support students in their academic and personal development
  • Help with classroom management and behaviour support
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to student progress and welfare
  • Minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications)
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
  • Understanding of autism qualification- preferred

Relevant educational background or training in supporting students with special educational needs

Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role

  • Understanding of special educational needs and the ability to provide tailored support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting student learning
  • Additional training or qualifications in special educational needs (SEN)
  • First aid certification
  • Work primarily within a school setting in a small community Primary School in SA33
  • Full-time hours, following the school term calendar
  • Across Summer-Term

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
