About the role

Include St Matthews is looking for a passionate, resilient Teacher to join our team. You'll plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons for students with SEMH, SEND, or who require alternative provision, working within our therapeutic, trauma-informed approach to help every pupil feel known, understood, and supported to succeed.

SEMH/SEND experience is desirable but not essential. Full training and ongoing support is provided, including in our trauma-informed and graduated approach to behaviour, proactive relational and co-regulation strategies, and the Teach Like a Champion framework.

What you'll be doing

• Planning and delivering well-structured, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Creating an inclusive, stimulating, well-organised classroom environment
• Building trusted, positive relationships that help pupils feel safe and understood
• Working closely with the Headteacher, Assistant Headteacher, SENDCo and wider staff team
• Contributing to a reflective, collaborative staff culture with genuine investment in your professional development

What we're looking for

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience of planning and delivering effective lessons and managing pupil behaviour positively
• A resilient, adaptable, warm and nurturing approach, with high expectations for every pupil
• A strong understanding of safeguarding, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
