Teaching Personnel are in need of Teachers in Weymouth and Portland! We are working with several schools in the area for day-to-day supply and long-term cover roles.

One school we are working with needs a Teacher for 1 day a week (Thursdays) covering a Year 2 class in the morning and Year 6 class in the afternoon with potential to last until end of academic year. This is a great opportunity for a Teacher who wants to reduce their hours and work Part-Time.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Year 2 class in the morning & Year 6 class in the afternoon.
  • Providing a welcoming and creative and inclusive  environment.
  • Delivering pre-planned work provided by current Teacher who is there 4 days a week.

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience of teaching primary, KS1 & 2
  • QTS – (Fully qualified teacher status)
  • Enhanced DBS Child Only certificate that is on the update service. (Teaching Personnel can assist with this)
  • Safeguarding Course certificate.

Desirable (optional):

  • Knowledge & experience working with SEN pupils.
  • Experience working with Adults with special requirements or learning difficulties.

This Role will be Thursdays only, every week for 3 weeks initially, with high potential to extend to the end of the Academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
