We are currently looking for a General Cover Teacher to join an SEMH setting, supporting pupils who may have experienced barriers to education and require a more individualised approach to learning.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys building meaningful relationships with pupils and creating a classroom environment where young people feel safe, supported and able to succeed.
As a General Cover Teacher, you will:
Deliver lessons across a variety of subjects and age groups.
Follow lesson plans and adapt activities where necessary.
Provide clear, consistent and positive classroom management.
Develop strong professional relationships with pupils.
Support pupils with a range of social, emotional and behavioural needs.
Encourage engagement, confidence and positive attitudes towards learning.
Work alongside experienced teachers, support staff and pastoral teams.
Contribute to a safe, structured and inclusive school environment.
