Position: Teacher of Mathematics

Location: Welwyn Garden City

Are you a mathematics aficionado with a knack for turning complex concepts into captivating lessons? Do you have a passion for equipping students with the skills they need to excel in the world of numbers? If so, we're looking for YOU to join our team as a Maths Teacher!

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a variety of schools in and around Welwyn Garden City who are actively looking for Mathematics Teachers/Specialists to help support schools within the area for cover, long term and short.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering (and sometimes designing) dynamic lessons to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Instilling a growth mindset and confidence in students to tackle mathematical challenges.
  • Providing personalised support and guidance to help students reach their full potential
  • Incorporating real-world applications and interactive activities to make Mathematics come alive
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall mathematics curriculum and teaching strategies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
    • Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
    • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to breakdown complex concepts into digestible pieces
    • Enthusiastic individuals with a deep understanding and love for mathematics
    • Innovative teaching methods to engage students of all learning styles and abilities
    • Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
