We are seeking a passionate and creative Drama Teacher to inspire students and bring the performing arts to life. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school environment and make a real impact on students' confidence, creativity and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4  

-          Encourage creativity, performance skills and teamwork

-          Prepare students for assessments and performances

-          Organise and contribute to extracurricular activities such as school productions, clubs and showcases

-          Support students' personal development and confidence-building

 

The Ideal candidate will:

-          Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

-          Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

-          Have a strong subject knowledge in Drama/Performing Arts

-          Be enthusiastic, energetic and creative

-          Have excellent classroom management and communication skills

-          Be committed to raising achievement and supporting all learners
