A specialist Alternative Provision in Chichester is seeking an experienced, passionate and dedicated Teacher in Charge to lead its Primary provision from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational educator and leader to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children who require a more personalised, nurturing and therapeutic approach to education.
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day running of the Primary provision, leading a small team to deliver high-quality teaching, positive behaviour support and a safe, supportive learning environment for pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH and associated challenges.
You will play a key role in shaping the provision, supporting staff development, building strong relationships with families and external professionals, and ensuring pupils are able to achieve both academically and emotionally.
This role combines teaching responsibilities with leadership and operational oversight.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher ready to step into leadership, or an existing middle lead
