Contract: Full-Time

We are currently recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to work within friendly and supportive primary schools across Carshalton and the surrounding areas.

This role is ideal for a candidate who has experience supporting children across KS1 and KS2, particularly those with additional needs.

  • Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Support children with SEN, including those with EHCPs.
  • Help promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress where required.
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school.
  • SEN experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A positive, patient and adaptable approach.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
