At Teaching Personnel, we are working closely with a primary school in Moston who are actively seeking a full-time (Mon-Fri, 8.30am-3.30pm) Support Worker. This successful educator will provide support and assistance to pupils that have been diagnosed with different Special Educational Needs, therefore having the experience of working within a care setting would be desirable. The school requires someone who has a passion for education, so that they can assist the pupils. The school that you will be working in aims to set out a positive ethos for all pupils throughout the school. This role is due to start w/c 13th May on an ongoing basis until the end of the academic year initially with the view to continuing in the next academic year.

Job Duties:

  • Assist in implementing care plans and support strategies.
  • Help pupils in the classroom and outside the classroom on the playground.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and well-being of individuals.
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Relevant experience working with children or individuals with SEN.
