Academics is recruiting enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Retford on an ad-hoc, short-term and temporary basis from September 2026.

- Competitive pay of £92.56 to £95.00 per day (inclusive of holiday pay), dependent upon experience, qualifications, training and client pay rate available.
- Paid weekly through PAYE.

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers with classroom management and pupil engagement.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
- Assist pupils with their learning and development.
- Help create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Adapt confidently to different primary school settings.
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working with children or within an educational setting is desirable.
- A CACHE or NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning is preferred but not essential.
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
- Flexibility to work across different primary schools in and around Retford.
- A commitment to safeguarding and completing annual safeguarding training.
- The right to work in the UK.
