Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible, supporting a range of friendly and supportive primary schools across Plymouth, Launceston and Tavistock.

This is a great opportunity for both experienced Teaching Assistants and those looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

  • Supporting pupils across EYFS through to Year 6
  • Assisting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support, including pupils with SEN
  • Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment
  • A positive, proactive and adaptable approach
  • A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development
  • Experience in schools is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work confidently across different year groups
  • Opportunities available for both drivers and non-drivers
  • Flexible work options available

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
