Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in primary schools across Plymouth?

We are currently recruiting reliable and motivated Supply Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in the Plymouth area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want the flexibility to choose when and where they work.

  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons
  • Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis
  • Providing support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assisting children with varying learning and behavioural needs
  • Helping to create a positive and safe learning environment
  • Adapting to different classroom settings and year groups
  • Experience working with primary-aged children preferred
  • SEN support experience is desirable
  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be available to work between the hours of 8:30am – 3:30pm
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Flexible working to suit your availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
