Teaching Personnel is recruiting Supply Teachers for September 2026 across Middlesbrough secondary schools. If you want flexibility, better work life balance, and control over when and where you work, supply teaching could be perfect for you.

Choose your own schedule. Work full time if you want consistent income, pick up a few days per week to fit around other commitments, or take ad hoc days when it suits you. No planning, no marking (unless you choose longer placements), and the freedom to say yes or no to bookings.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering pre prepared lessons across your subject at KS3 to KS5
• Managing classroom behaviour in different school settings
• Maintaining positive learning environments
• Adapting quickly to various schools and their systems
• Building rapport with students and staff

You need:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
• Flexibility and confidence in different environments
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Two professional references covering the last two years
