Teaching Personnel is working with a number of secondary schools in Sturminster Newton and the surrounding areas who are looking to welcome reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic Supply Teachers from September 2026.

Supply teaching can offer an excellent alternative to permanent employment, providing teachers with the flexibility to choose when and where they work while gaining experience across a variety of secondary school settings.

We currently have a range of supply opportunities available across mainstream secondary schools, working with students at Key Stages 3 and 4.

Roles may include:

• Day-to-day supply assignments

• Short-term and longer-term cover

• Full-time and part-time opportunities

• Weekly or half-term placements

• Potential temp-to-perm and permanent positions

• Secondary Teachers with QTS or QTLS

You should have effective behaviour management, strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to different schools and classes. A positive and professional approach is essential.
