Supply Teacher – Trafford – June start – full-time temporary roles available

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit for a number of Supply Teachers within the Trafford region of South Manchester after the demand for supply staff in recent months has skyrocketed. All the schools within Trafford are easily accessible via public transport and are looking for a range of roles in multiple subjects involving part-time/full-time and short-term/long-term positions.

The role of a Supply Teacher involves covering lessons in school when the permanent member of staff cannot be there. This will involve being adaptable and able to deliver pre-prepared lessons in multiple subjects. Depending on the length of the role, the supply teacher will have the opportunity to take more control and plan their own lessons to help develop each student in line with the national curriculum. Some of the basic pay rates and details of the roles available are listed below.

  • Pay: (With QTS) £120 - £140 per day, depending on experience.
  • Pay: (Unqualified Teacher/Teaching Assistant) £66 - £77 per day depending on experience.
  • Roles primarily based in Trafford with easy access from public transport.
  • A range of role available starting in June and September

The ideal candidate will be confident within a classroom setting with strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
