Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status

Skills: Ability to teach own subject up to KS4 level, Adaptable and happy to cover a range of subjects at a base level, Strong Literacy and Numeracy Skills, Reliable and Punctual

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students up to KS4 level
  • Provide cover for absent teachers across a range of subjects
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Mark and assess students' work to provide constructive feedback

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status

Education:

- Relevant degree in Education or related field

Experience:

- Previous experience in teaching or education sector

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) is desirable

Working Conditions:

- Work in various school settings within the North West England region

- Full-time hours with potential for flexible scheduling

- Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
