Supply Teachers Needed for Primary, Secondary, and SEN Schools

Location: Surrey, United Kingdom

Job Description: We are currently seeking dynamic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join our team and work across a variety of primary, secondary, and SEN schools in Surrey. As a Supply Teacher, you will have the flexibility to choose your assignments and gain valuable experience in different educational settings while making a positive impact on students' learning and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and lesson plans provided.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively and create a positive learning environment conducive to learning.
  • Support students' academic progress and personal development, providing additional assistance and guidance as required.
  • Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff, students, and parents to ensure continuity of learning and a smooth transition between regular teachers and supply staff.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching in primary, secondary, or SEN settings is desirable but not essential.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups and subject areas.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues quickly.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
