Supply Teacher

Teaching personnel are recruiting for the well-known secondary school In Hereford. They are looking to recruit a general cover teacher. The school is looking for a confident outgoing teacher able to take care of students ranging from 11-18 years old with all abilities. Pay will be based on experience but will range from £130 - £180 per day. Working hours are from 8.30am-3.30pm.

If successful, the start date is May 6th.

The successful candidate would be covering all subjects.

including but not limited to:

  •   Being comfortable covering a range of subjects and following a plan.
  •   Setting a positive example and role model for the students.
  •   Supervising and monitoring pupils’ behavior and learning.
  •   Communicating with students and teachers throughout the school.
  •   Keep the pupils’ behaviour in line with the school policy.
  •   Be flexible and easily able to adapt to new environments.

As a teacher you have a responsibility to make sure the pupils are happy and safe; achieve their full potential; develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to take their place as responsible citizens in society.

-          Enhanced child DBS check and registered to the update service.

-          Qualified teacher status.

-          Be able to provide 2 references.

-          Available to interview within the next 2 weeks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
