Supply Teacher

Here at Teaching Personnel we are looking for a supply teacher for one of our Croydon schools. This role will be full-time, short-term placement within a school. However, we aim to progress all our candidates onto full-time permanent contracts within the schools they are placed in. We have an excellent relationship with the school and can speak to the high quality of staff working there, being supportive and kind to staff at every step. This role will require you to engage with the students on a 1:1 basis and build a good rapport with them to ensure they will be confident asking for your help in lessons. Having excellent communication skills are also needed for this position as it’s necessary that what you tell the students is clear and concise. As a result, literacy and numeracy skills are also essential to your success as a Supply Teacher.

Key information:

• The school is located in the Croydon area
• You will be assisting with KS3 and KS4 students
• There is an option to assist with SEN students if that’s an area you’d like to explore
• Having a passion for teaching will be essential for the role
• You need to be located in the UK, able to travel to Trafford as a daily commute

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
