Supply Teacher in Trafford

Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a number of new Supply Teachers to provide cover within the local area of Trafford and South Manchester. The schools which we work with are a mix of state and grammar secondary schools, a lot of which are Ofsted Good and Outstanding and all in easy reach of public transport. We are able to offer flexible supply work to candidates, whether you are looking for a few days a week to fit around your current schedule or if you are seeking full-time employment – we have roles for you.

The role of a Supply Teacher is to provide cover within a range of subjects in school for teachers who have been unable to make it into school for whatever reason. You will need to be flexible and adaptable and able to cover different subjects around the school. For short term roles (and positions where you are not teaching in your subject specialism) the work will all be prepared in advance for you. For longer term roles which allow for the opportunity to really become settled in the department, it will mean you have the freedom to start planning and implementing your own schemes of work.

  • Pay: £120 - £140 per day depending on experience and responsibilities of role
  • Mix of Ofsted Good and Outstanding schools
  • Flexible work on offer (both part-time and full-time)
  • Schools within easy reach of public transport around the Trafford area

This role will be ideal for anybody looking for work that will mean no two days are ever the same and will also provide you with a rewarding sense of accomplishment. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to build relationships easily. You will also have a warm personality and have strong behaviour management skills gained from a previous role of working with students, perhaps in a voluntary role such as scout leader or support worker.

Please attach your most recent CV as a file below in order to be considered.
