Teaching Personnel are looking for a number of Supply Teachers who are based in central Manchester to join our team and to provide outstanding levels of support within schools who are currently experiencing staff shortages. A supply teacher needs to be adaptable/flexible and able to try new challenges regularly. Schools require educators who are able to cover a range of subjects (all the lessons will be prepared in advance for you), depending on which member of staff is off sick.

Teaching Personnel have a range of full-time/part-time and long-term/short-term roles available at present which means this is the perfect role for anybody looking for flexible work to fit around their schedule, whether you are looking for lots of consistent work, or just a few days to provide additional income – this would be right for you.

  • Pay: £120 - £140 per day depending on experience.
  • Must have QTS in any subject.
  • Must live near Manchester City Centre and be able to commute throughout South Manchester additionally.
  • Will need a Child Only DBS registered on the Update Service.

This would be an ideal role for ECT’s who are looking for additional experience before accepting a permanent role, or for more experienced teachers who are looking for a more flexible work pattern. If you are an enthusiastic and motivated person who has good behaviour management skills along with strong literacy and numeracy skills, and meet the requirements above, then we would like to hear from you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
