- Covering lessons in the absence of regular classroom teachers, following pre-prepared lesson plans and maintaining classroom discipline and routine.
- Providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences across a range of subjects and age groups.
- Adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students in different school settings.
- Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Implementing effective behavioural management techniques to manage challenging behaviour and promote positive behaviour choices.
- Supporting the overall ethos and values of the schools you work in, contributing to the school community and fostering a culture of excellence.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and eligibility to work in the UK.
- A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Good behavioural management skills and the ability to maintain a calm and consistent approach in challenging situations.
- Availability to work at least three days per week.
- Flexibility to travel to different schools within the York, Scarborough, and Selby areas.
