Supply TA

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit day to day SEN Teaching Assistants for various SEN Schools across Central Lancashire including: Ormskirk and Skelmersdale.

As a day to day SEN teaching assistant, you will be expected to adapt quickly to daily school routine and embrace any tasks which the school gives you. Therefore, you must be able to immediately adapt to the new surrounding and want to meet high expectations.

General duties include:

• Providing academic support to pupils with SEND
• Quickly build positive relationships with students
• Support pupils with engagement and encourage pupils to be involves
• Help the class teacher in any way you can

No two days will be the same in this role and you will be offered flexibility in your working hours.

This is a fantastic way to gain experience in a school environment and may lead to longer term positions if that is what you wish to pursue.

The schools may cater for children with autism, mild learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, attention deficit disorder, oppositional defiance disorder or social, emotional, mental health difficulties.

There are part-time and full-time positions available with immediate start.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
