We are currently recruiting Student Support Workers to work across a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools in Skelmersdale from September. We have both full-time, long-term positions and flexible day-to-day supply roles available.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with a variety of additional needs, helping them to access learning, develop life skills, and achieve their full potential.

As a Student Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.
  • Build positive relationships and encourage student engagement.
  • Support pupils with communication, emotional, behavioural, and learning needs.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and other professionals.
  • Promote independence, confidence, and wellbeing.
