We are currently looking for a SEN teaching assistant to support one of our expanding Partnership Schools that we work closely with.

The role would be suitable for applicants that are local to Hemel hempstead.  

 

The working pattern will consist of working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, with working hours being 8:30 – 15:30: term time only. 

We have the option to start ASAP, or we are also recruiting now for roles starting after the Easter holidays.

Whilst experience is desirable, it’s not essential. If you feel you have the right personal qualities to be a fantatsic teaching assistant, then please continue to read on. 

 

 

Typical TA Duties can include:

  • Working with students who need additional support either on 1:1 basis or in small groups.
  • Motivating and inspiring children to learn and participate in classroom activities.
  • Contribute to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day.
  • Support the teacher with general classroom and behaviour management.
  • Prepare lesson resources.
  • Help to keep the classroom clean and tidy.
  • Provide specialised care according to EHCP.
