We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialist SEN Teacher to join our growing Norwich SEN team. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work with pupils who require additional support, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve meaningful progress both academically and personally.

As a Specialist SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons tailored to a range of learning needs.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to support students with diverse SEN requirements and learning styles.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to succeed.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to student development.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behavioural outcomes through consistent support and guidance.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold relevant teaching qualifications (ECTs, NQTs and experienced teachers are all encouraged to apply).
  • Have experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs, or a strong desire to develop within SEN education.
  • Be creative, adaptable, and passionate about delivering engaging lessons for learners of all abilities.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, patience, and empathy.
  • Be committed to inclusive education and helping every student achieve their potential.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle, as travel between schools and educational settings may be required.
