Teaching Personnel is partnering with a SEN school in Cardiff, seeking a passionate part-time teacher to support a small class of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

 

As an SEN Teacher, you will provide crucial support to pupils aged 3 to 19 years, helping them develop essential skills for their future. Your role will involve preparing students for life beyond school by fostering their growth and independence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and Inspire: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that are accessible to all abilities.
  • High Standards: Promote and maintain high standards of attainment, progress, and behaviour, with an organized approach to the curriculum.
  • Support and Guidance: Provide instruction and guidance to support staff as needed.
  • Collaborative Effort: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external carers to meet the individual needs of each pupil.

 

Position Details:

Location: Hengoed, Caerphilly

Position: SEN Teacher

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Part-time, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay starting from £157.66 per day (as per the national framework for Wales).

Qualifications required: Degree with QTS, PGCE with QTS or equivalent for UK.
