Teaching Personnel are recruiting for multiple SLD Learning Support Assistant roles across East London & Essex.

Role: SLD Learning Support Assistant

Locations: East London & Essex (Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Waltham Forest, Newham, Redbridge, Barking & Dagenham)

Start Date: Immediate start (flexible)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Competitive salary – up to £110 per day (via PAYE with, no umbrella fees)

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 3:30PM

About the role:

• Care & support for 4-19 y.o Young People who live with Autism, ADHD, Epilepsy & Severe Learning Difficulties in a classroom setting
• Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment
• Work and collaborate with other SLD Learning Support Assistants within the team
• Role model positive attitudes, values and behaviours to students
• Promote & encourage inclusion, compassion & learning to both students & staff
• Weekly targeted staff training to ensure you are comfortable in your role
• All classrooms will have 3-4 LSA’s at a time

If you have any of the below skills, we encourage you to apply:

• Previous SEN, SLD OR PMLD experience
• Support Workers, Youth Workers, Sport Coaches, Counsellors, Mental Health Workers & Nursery workers are encouraged to apply
• The drive to inspire, motivate and make a difference
• Are confident in supporting a variety of learners
• Experience working in a school setting or experience in a relatable setting

Required:

• Have the right to work in UK
• DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one
• Minimum of 2 references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
