Are you driven to support young people with additional learning needs? We’re working with dedicated tutors in Christchurch who want to make a real difference through personalised education.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Christchurch and nearby areas
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time / Full-Time)

About the Role
You’ll work closely with learners who require additional support, delivering tailored sessions that build confidence, independence, and academic skills. Tuition may take place in the home or a suitable local setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, learner-focused sessions in Maths and English
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Create a calm, structured learning environment
  • Encourage positive learning behaviours and emotional wellbeing
  • Track and celebrate progress, however small

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND
  • Confidence working with primary and/or secondary students
  • A flexible, patient, and proactive approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
  • Ability to travel within the Christchurch area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
