Hours: 08:30am – 3:30pm, 5 days a week

We’re seeking dedicated Specialist SEND Teaching Assistants to support a specialist school in the Fareham area working with children from the ages of 6-16. The children at this specialist establishment have a range of needs including medical and other additional needs.

Whether you have a background in care, personal experience, or a passion for helping others—if you bring empathy, patience, and a resilient mindset, this role could be your next step.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or adults with barriers to learning
  • Strong sense of empathy, resilience, and a commitment to inclusive education
  • A genuine desire to help every child thrive
  • Clear and concise way of communiocating
  • Someone resilient, calm and consistent
  • Understand body language and being proactive in support
  • A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to different needs and learning styles
