Supply Desk is currently recruiting dedicated and reliable 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils in schools across Slough (SL2). This is an immediate start opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

You will work one-to-one with a pupil who requires additional support to access learning, manage behaviour, and build confidence within the school environment. Roles are available across primary, secondary, and specialist settings, depending on experience and suitability.

Support may include pupils with:

  • Autism (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • Learning difficulties
  • Dyslexia
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
  • Understanding of SEND and inclusive support strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, calm, and supportive approach
  • Ability to start ASAP and work in Slough (SL2)
