SEND Teaching Assistant

Smile Education are thrilled to be supporting a vibrant primary school based in north Birmingham. We are currently seeking a SEND TA to join the team from May 2024.
We are currently seeking a SEND TA to join this friendly team from May 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be supporting pupils within small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required, providing intervention and support within the classroom. Pupils’ needs are mainly based in SEMH and ASD.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking and supporting primary environment. The school is located in north Birmingham, within proximity to Shard End, Hodgehill and Washwood Heath. The expected salary range for this position is between £80-100 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to have experience supporting pupils within the classroom. Prior experience of supporting pupils with SEND is also beneficial but not essential- this is a great opportunity to build your experience in the area of SEND education and support.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
• Available to join the school from May 2024 until the end of the academic year
• Available on a full-time basis
