As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Support learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including autism, ADHD, and other complex physical and behavioural needs.
• Work closely with pupils aged 3-19 in both one-to-one and small group settings.
• Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning experiences that meet individual needs.
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every learner can thrive.
• Encourage young people to become confident, ambitious, and valued members of their community.

This specialist school supports learners with a diverse range of additional learning needs, providing an inclusive and highly supportive educational environment.

The school caters for pupils from primary age through to sixth form, ensuring each learner receives the personalised support they need at every stage of their educational journey. Staff are committed to helping students become confident, independent individuals who are well prepared for their future pathways.

• A positive, caring, and patient approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with ALN.
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
• The ability to remain adaptable, compassionate, and calm in a fast-paced environment.
• An Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willingness to register.
• Two professional references.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous but is not essential.
