SEND 1:1 Tutor - Hillingdon Suitable to NQT

SEND Primary & Secondary Tutors Required (EOTAS / Alternative Provision - Hillingdon)

We are currently looking for qualified teachers and experienced tutors to support primary and secondary-aged learners across the London Borough of Hillingdon area through 1:1 and small-group tuition.

This provision supports young people who are currently outside of mainstream education, including those accessing EOTAS pathways, as well as pupils with SEND and/or SEMH needs.

Demand for tutors is currently high, with referrals continuing to increase throughout the academic year and into September.

Please note: applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available.

What the Role Involves

• Delivering tuition in core subjects including English, Maths, and Science
• Supporting both primary and secondary-aged learners
• Sessions take place during school hours, therefore daytime availability is essential!
• Working with pupils with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, and school avoidance
• Delivering sessions in homes, schools, community settings, or online
• Flexible opportunities available, with many referrals offering up to 5 days per week (approx. 3 hours per day)

Requirements

• QTS / QTLS or significant tutoring experience
• Experience working with SEND, EOTAS, or alternative provision learners is desirable
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Strong understanding of safeguarding
• Ability to travel locally within the Hillingdon area

Ideally, candidates should hold a degree in the subject area they are applying to tutor.
