TP Tutors is recruiting SEN Tutors to deliver individualised one-to-one tuition to primary and secondary SEN students in Chichester and the surrounding areas.

This role is focused specifically on supporting learners with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH and other SEND requirements.

You’ll adapt your teaching to each learner, helping them build confidence, engage with education and work towards realistic, meaningful outcomes.

  • Pay: £25–£30 per hour
  • Location: Chichester and surrounding areas

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one tuition tailored specifically to SEN learners
  • Adapting resources, lesson plans and teaching approaches
  • Supporting students across primary and/or secondary education
  • Encouraging confidence, motivation and independence
  • Monitoring and recording individual progress
  • Working collaboratively with families, schools and other professionals
  • Providing consistent, patient and inclusive support

You should have:

  • Experience supporting SEN/SEND children or young people
  • Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring or education
  • Experience within mainstream and/or specialist SEN settings
  • A good understanding of safeguarding
  • The ability to work with primary and/or secondary SEN students
  • Ability to travel throughout Chichester and surrounding areas
  • Strong communication skills
