TP Tutors is recruiting SEN Tutors to provide high-quality one-to-one tuition across Winchester and surrounding areas.

We support children and young people with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, and learners who need extra support to re-engage with education. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference through personalised learning.

Location: Winchester and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community settings, or learners' homes

As an SEN Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver personalised one-to-one tuition tailored to individual learning needs
  • Plan engaging sessions that support both academic progress and personal development
  • Adapt your teaching approach to maximise learner engagement
  • Build learners' confidence, independence, and resilience
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate session records
  • Develop positive relationships with learners, families, and education professionals
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND
  • Background in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, teaching assistance, or education support
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to travel across Winchester and surrounding areas
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
