Position: Part-Time 1:1 SEN Tutor
Hours: Flexible, Monday to Friday during school hours
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Tutor to provide personalised educational support to learners in the Chesterfield (S42) area.

• Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition tailored to each learner's needs and abilities.
• Support pupils with a range of SEN, including those with additional learning, communication, or behavioural needs.
• Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and other professionals.
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate session records.

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum or relevant subject area.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), tutoring qualification, or relevant teaching/support experience.
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs.
