TP Tutors is seeking dedicated SEN Tutors to deliver personalised one-to-one tuition across Winchester and surrounding areas. This rewarding role involves supporting learners with autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, learning difficulties, and those who have experienced interruptions to their education.

Location: Winchester and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community settings, or learners' homes

As an SEN Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition tailored to individual learning needs
  • Plan and adapt lessons based on learner targets and progress
  • Support learners to build confidence, independence, and resilience
  • Use creative approaches to overcome barriers to learning
  • Monitor and record progress following each session
  • Build positive relationships that encourage engagement and achievement
  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND
  • Background in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, teaching assistance, or educational support
  • Good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and best practice
  • Ability to travel across Winchester and nearby areas
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
