A specialist college environment in Yeovil is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to deliver PSHE on a full-time basis with an immediate start available.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who enjoys supporting young adults with additional learning needs while delivering meaningful, life-focused education that prepares learners for adulthood.
The setting supports post-16 students with a variety of complex profiles including autism, moderate learning difficulties, SEMH needs and communication barriers.
Staff work collaboratively to provide structured guidance, promote emotional wellbeing and help learners develop confidence in both educational and everyday situations.
The successful candidate will lead engaging PSHE sessions focused on personal development, wellbeing, relationships, employability and life skills.
Lessons are designed to encourage discussion, self-awareness and practical understanding in a supportive and inclusive environment.
• Delivering differentiated PSHE sessions tailored to individual learner needs
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and confidence-building
• Encouraging independence and preparation for adulthood
• Creating a positive and respectful classroom culture
• Working closely with support staff and wider professionals
• Tracking learner progress and contributing to reviews

• Experience supporting learners with SEN or additional needs
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Knowledge of PSHE or life-skills education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
