Job Title: SEN Tutor
Location: NE24, Northumberland
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Job Type: Part-time / Flexible

Role Overview:
A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated SEN Tutor to support students with additional learning needs. The role involves providing tailored educational support to help learners build confidence, improve engagement, and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Provide 1:1 or small group tutoring sessions
  • Support students with a range of SEN needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties)
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
  • Monitor and report on student progress

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred)
  • Patient, understanding, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant education or support experience
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
