  • Deliver tailored lessons to support students' academic and personal development
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Understanding of SEN strategies and accommodations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant qualification in Education or SEN

Prior experience working as an SEN Tutor or in a similar role

  • Knowledge of SEN curriculum and teaching methods
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual student needs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Patience and empathy when working with students with special needs

The role of SEN Tutor is based in a school setting in Horley, Surrey. The working hours are part-time, and the position is temporary. The environment may involve working closely with students with diverse needs and collaborating with other education professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
