Salary: £20 - £25 Per hour

  • Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities.
  • Implement strategies to support students in overcoming learning challenges.
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the students' education.
  • Experience working with students with SEN.
  • Understanding of different learning styles and abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

A relevant degree in Education or Special Education is preferred.

Prior experience working as a tutor or teacher with SEN students is required.

  • Familiarity with SEN support strategies and techniques.
  • Ability to create engaging and accessible learning materials.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Additional training in SEN support or related field.

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing tutoring support to students with SEN in the Greater London area. The work may involve travel to different locations within Richmond.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
