We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team in Surrey, South East England. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialised educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of SEN students
  • Assess students' learning styles and adapt teaching methods accordingly
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to SEN students in various subjects
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to create effective learning plans
  • Experience working with SEN students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual needs

Relevant qualification in Education or SEN

Prior experience working with SEN students

  • Understanding of SEN requirements and best practises
  • Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Additional training or certifications in SEN education
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting

This is a temporary position with part-time hours, offering flexibility in work schedule. The role may involve working closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support SEN students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
